Volunteer Appreciation Event – September 8, 2023 `
This year’s Volunteer Appreciation Event was held on Friday, September 8, in the Melmoth Lounge.
What a wonderful turnout! We invited 72 of our volunteers and we were thrilled to have 50 of the volunteers join us for the event! As an organization, we feel it is really important to recognize our amazing team because organizations like ours rely on our volunteers, and are the reason we are able to offer as much as we do!
Our guests and board members enjoyed some lovely platters of deli sandwiches, fresh vegetables, shrimp, fresh fruit, and assorted dessert squares that were picked up from Appetite Delight, some wonderful caterers in Spruce Grove (#supportlocal). It was so nice to get together, enjoy some conversation and we ended the event with draws for some fun prizes.
All in all, it was a great event that seemed to be enjoyed by all!
