THE SEBA SENIORS THRIFT SHOP

  • The Seba Seniors Thrift Shop was established in 1976 as a means of generating funds for the Seba Seniors.
  • Today the income from the Thrift Shop continues to help offset the costs of utilities and maintenance of our building. It also allows us to keep our yearly membership fee low and helps pay for the programs and activities at our Centre.
  • In addition, the Seba Seniors are able to make cash donations to several charities and local groups all due to the generous support of the community for our Thrift Shop.
  • All of our items are donated by our generous community members and friends.

DID YOU KNOW…

  • Our Thrift Shop is completely volunteer-run!  We have a great crew of volunteers who sort through all the donated items; cleaning, pricing, and stocking all the donated items that can be sold.
  • We try to reduce the number of items going to a landfill.
  • Items not suitable for sale may be sold for rags or shipped out to other organizations that can use the items.
