We added 8 brand-new programs to the 17 we already had running—what a busy, exciting time it’s been!
We tried out a bunch of new ideas. Some are now regular favourites, some are still finding their feet, and a few… well, they were fun to try, even if they didn’t quite stick!

Why These Activities Matter
Joining in on fun, social, and active programs helps older adults stay healthy, happy, and independent—so they can keep living in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.
Here’s how:
-
Staying Social
Being with others helps prevent loneliness. Making friends, sharing laughs, and feeling part of a group is good for your mood and mental health. -
Staying Active
Fitness classes, games, and hobbies help keep your body and mind strong. This makes it easier to stay mobile, avoid injuries, and feel confident in daily life. -
Feeling Purposeful
Having something to look forward to each week adds structure and meaning to your day. Whether it’s learning, creating, or just having fun—it all adds up. -
Learning New Things
It’s never too late to learn or try something new. Staying curious and creative keeps the brain sharp and the spirit young.
Our Goal
We’re here to help seniors stay connected, active, and engaged. Everything we do—every program, class, and event—is designed to support you in aging well and living fully in your own home and community.
So Summer is here, bringing fun in the sun and on the beach. Enjoy your guests, and we will see many of you back in the Fall when we will start all over again
