Learning, Laughing & Growing Together
A wonderful new group has been growing in our community! The Homeschooling Moms’ Group was formed in late 2024/early 2025 through connections made at the Wabamun Library. Since January, the group has been meeting at the Seba Seniors Centre in our May Hall on Tuesdays, giving local homeschooling families a chance to learn, create, and have fun together.
The group has grown to approximately 10 moms and 24 children, ranging in age from newborn to 10 years old. It’s wonderful to see May Hall being used as a place where local families can connect, share experiences and create memories together.

A Weekend of Tradition at the Seba Beach Regatta
As the echoes of the August long weekend begin to fade, we hope everyone enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the historic Seba Beach Regatta on Lake Wabamun!
First held in 1914, during Seba Beach’s railway-boom era, the regatta has been bringing families and visitors together at the lake for generations. From traditional sailboat races to sunny days spent with family and friends, it continues to be a wonderful celebration of our community’s history and our love of the lake.
We can’t wait to see all the photos and memories from this year’s event! See you at the regatta next year!
