BRIDGE AT THE BEACH – DID YOU JOIN US?

Ā

Our Seba Seniors Bridge group recently organized the annual Bridge at the Beach fundraiser, now in its 17th year, with the delightful theme of ā€œItā€™s a French Affair.ā€ This event was originally started by local bridge enthusiasts to attract more players and support our Seba Beach Heritage Museum. We are thrilled to announce that all proceeds from this yearā€™s event have been donated to the museum!

Ā

With 40 bridge players in attendance, it was a day filled with fun and excitement. Participants enjoyed both morning and afternoon bridge sessions, indulged in a delicious French-themed lunch prepared mostly in-house, and left with lots of prizes donated by local community members and businesses. šŸ„–šŸ§€

Ā

Even though the cards didnā€™t fall in everyoneā€™s favor, the day was incredibly enjoyable. We hope to see everyone back next year! šŸŽ‰ Special recognition goes out to some of our participants who have been with us from the very startā€”17 years ago! šŸ™Œ

PRIZES FROM OUR COMMUNITY

A huge thank you goes to the local businesses, farmers market vendors, and community members who generously donated prizes for this event. Your support helped ensure that every bridge player went home with a prize. šŸŽ

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS – #supportlocal

šŸŒŸ Event Highlights:

  • Forty bridge players gathered to enjoy several exciting rounds of bridge.
  • Karen and Cathy, dressed in French style, volunteered their time to help prepare and serve the meal.
  • While we don’t have a picture of the amazing lunch, the desserts were a hit!
  • Bronwyn was the lucky winner of a quilt donated by the Seba Seniors Quilting Group.

We can’t thank you enough for making this event a success!

Letā€™s keep the tradition alive, and we look forward to another fantastic event next year!
