Meet Casey Pilip of Seba Hub
For Casey Pilip, joining Seba Hub in May wasn’t just starting a new job—it was coming home.
Casey spent the first 16 summers of his life in Seba Beach with his grandparents, Lorna and Bill Cowley. His grandmother helped establish the Seba Beach Museum in 1976, and Casey remembers spending time working there as a youngster. Those summers were filled with regattas, bingo, thrift shop sales, long days with friends—and plenty of good Seba memories.
One of the exciting opportunities is the growing partnership between Seba Seniors and Casey at Seba Hub. We’re working together to bring more activities and opportunities to our members and make greater use of the Hub. Ideas include regular indoor pickle ball, an indoor walking route and a small fitness area where people can exercise together.
Casey’s vision for Seba Hub is simple: a place where people come together, have fun, try something new and feel welcome. That fits beautifully with what we’re doing at Seba Seniors.
For Casey, helping build Seba Hub nearly 50 years after his grandmother helped build the museum is a pretty special full-circle moment. We’re happy to have him back in Seba Beach—and excited about what we can accomplish together.
Welcome home, Casey!
