WATERCOLOR COLLECTIVE
“Watercolor paint is different from other opaque mediums like pastels, acrylics, markers and oil paints. As the name suggests, the magic of watercolor paint is in the watery, transparent texture. It is a spontaneous and fun” ~ Seema Misra

THE SEBA SENIORS WATERCOLOR ART COLLECTIVE
Under the sponsorship of Seba Seniors, the Watercolor Art Collective was formed as a welcoming space for community members of all ages to gather weekly and create art together.
Participants may choose to work on their own individual paintings or join in on a shared group project, depending on what the collective decides. In this setting, artists naturally support one another—offering encouragement, sharing ideas, and giving constructive feedback.
Beyond weekly painting, the collective also has the potential to organize workshops with guest instructors, pool resources for new opportunities, or plan group visits to art shows. Members are asked to bring their own art supplies, though beginners are welcome to try out the materials provided by Seba Seniors on their first day.
