Would you like to hang out with some fun people, help the environment, and support Seba Seniors?
We have just the thing for you. We get together every two weeks or once a month depending on need. The Cut Ups, that’s us, cut up rags to sell to companies who need them for their work.
Where do we get the stuff to cut up? The Thrift Shop receives donations to sell in the Shop. Not all donations are suitable for sale, so we cut the rejected material into rags. That keeps material out of the landfill, honors our donations, and helps support Seba Seniors. And there is lots of activity at Seba Seniors that might interest you.
I did say we have fun. We do! It is a great group of people. Sometimes there is as much laughter as there is cutting. We are always happy to have more volunteers to help us out with this project. That next volunteer could be you and we would love to have you.
Come For A Good Time, Not A Long Time!
- Our Cut Up sessions are no more than two hours
- An email is sent out to volunteers with details of the next date.
- The sessions are typically on Fridays in the afternoon in the May Hall at the Seba Seniors Centre
