POSITION: Social Committee Team Member
Do you like to have fun? Want to be part of a fun, exciting group? Make new friends? Are you organized? Artistic? Good at multi-tasking? We are looking for you to join our Social Committee
RESPONSIBILITY:
PRIOR TO EVENT (2.5 hours approximately)
Set up of the hall (May Lounge):
- putting out chairs and tables, garbage cans with bags
- decorating the hall
- preparation of food for the event (if the event isn’t being catered)
- for our outdoor events, could also include setting up of campfire grate, bringing out speakers, microphone (s) for entertainment, podium, garbage cans, etc.
AFTER EVENT (2.5 hours approximately)
- take down tables, chairs and put away
- clean up kitchen which could include dishes, pack up leftover food
- take down decorations, store away
- sweep floor
- take out garbage
- for our outdoor events, putting away of campfire grate, speakers, microphone, podium, emptying of garbage cans, etc.
