IT IS AN INTERESTING TIME
What an interesting time it is, politically, geographically, and culturally. We had our first International Discussion, where we identified the topics we would like to talk about going forward.
The format is a respectful round table and allows everyone to listen and speak about their understanding of the topics we are exploring. We will learn from each other and share our perspectives. We will have access to resources from the Canadian International Council as well as other varied sources that help us learn and understand. Our first meeting identified some very big topics

First Up is Democracy
- How do we maintain it? What causes us to lose it?
- How do we know who is telling the truth in our Federal Election?
- What is happening in the States under the leadership of President Trump.
- What is happening under Alberta Provincial Politics in relation to this topic.
Later, in no particular order, we want to talk about:
- Jerusalem & the Middle East
- Lobbyists
- Separation of Church and State
WHY JOIN US
I participated in an International Discussion about a year ago and liked the format, which was interesting and respectful. I would like to bring this format to an International Discussion group at Seba Seniors. Beyond that, this group will decide how they would like to access and discuss the different issues. This is your opportunity to help set the direction. So come and join us to talk about this very interesting world we are living in.
