A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Thank you to everyone who came out for our AGM, and stayed for social hour afterwards. It’s wonderful to keep our members connected with what the Seba Seniors Board has been up to and where we’re headed.
A heartfelt thank you to Lynn Berg, who has stepped down as our Thrift Shop Manager. Lynn’s many years of dedicated service — including her time as President — has left our community in wonderful shape. We’re so grateful for her years of service to the Seba Seniors! Thank you as well to Peter Willott (Maintenance Manager) and Lise Maisonneuve (Secretary) for giving their time to help make our Board more focused and structured over the past year.
We’re excited to welcome some familiar and new faces to our 2026 Seba Seniors Board! Al DeVries takes on the role of Thrift Shop Manager — Al & Mary are well known and beloved by our members, and their dedication will keep our Thrift Shop thriving. Lorne Johnson returns as Maintenance Manager, and Sue Kirkbright joins us as Secretary. Sue’s extensive background with the Edmonton School Board makes her a perfect fit.
SAVE THE DATE!
We are celebrating our 50th anniversary by having a 70’s dance on July 11 at The Pavilion. Keep an eye out as we’ll also be sharing more stories and historic highlights from our past in the coming months. We celebrate you as members of Seba Seniors and all that we have accomplished together.
Thanks again to all of you, our members, volunteers, and the Board. Together, we are the spirit of Seba Beach and the surrounding communities.
Ingrid Butler-Sieben
President, Seba Seniors
