Lorena Smalley

Join us for a relaxed, one‑day introduction to the NOT Falling for You program, a partnership between Alberta Health Services, the Injury Prevention Centre at the University of Alberta, and Finding Balance. This session is designed for older adults who want to stay active, steady on their feet, and confident in their daily activities.

During this one‑day workshop, you’ll learn what the full weekly program is all about and help us decide if there’s enough interest to bring it to the Seba Beach area. The weekly program is free for older adults and focuses on reducing the risk of falling, improving balance, and building confidence. Many participants start noticing positive changes within just a few weeks.

If there’s enough interest, Seba Seniors hopes to offer this program locally. The weekly classes use simple, research‑based balance exercises that are easy to follow and don’t require special equipment. The goal is to help you stay strong, steady, and independent, all at little or no cost.

If you’re curious, want to stay active, or just want to learn more, we’d love to have you join us for this introductory session. It’s a friendly, no‑pressure way to see if the program is right for you or someone you care about.
