Starting in September, you’ll notice we’re asking for a little more information when you sign in at Seba Seniors. You might be wondering why that is.
For years, we’ve simply recorded names at our programs and events. Those attendance numbers have helped us apply for grants and show how many people we serve. Recently, though, you may have seen that we’re now asking for a few extra details, things like your age, where you live, and which program you’re attending.
There’s a good reason for this.
Seba Seniors is currently receiving a Federal Government grant, and part of that funding requires us to collect more detailed information about the people who participate in our programs. Other grants also ask us to show where our members live so we can confirm that we meet their eligibility requirements.
And just to be clear, we’re not asking because we’re curious about your age. We simply need this information to meet our grant requirements and to help ensure we can continue receiving funding for the programs, activities, and services you enjoy.
Thank you for taking a moment to provide these details. Your support helps us keep doing what we do best, creating opportunities, connections, and a welcoming community for all of us.
