Bridge at the Beach – A True Canadian Celebration
The 18th annual Bridge at the Beach, a true Canadian Celebration, was held at Seba Seniors Centre on Thursday, August 14. Forty players joined in for a full day of fun that included morning and afternoon bridge sessions, a Canadian-themed lunch, and prizes for all. The event was proudly organized by the Seba Seniors Bridge Group, with proceeds supporting the Seba Beach Heritage Museum.
In keeping with the theme, lunch was prepared in-house and featured Canadian favourites such as Tourtière, Nanaimo Bars, and Butter Tarts—a delicious nod to our traditions.
A fantastic selection of prizes was available, generously donated by local businesses, Seba Beach Farmers’ Market vendors, and community members. Special thanks to Randy Crick for donating a beautiful watercolor print, which was raffled to raise additional funds for the museum. Prizes were awarded for Best Canadian Outfit, Highest Score, Lowest Score, and Most Slams Bid and Made—ensuring everyone left with something special.

Mary wins Highest Score (with a score of 4850) and it was her first time out to Bridge at the Beach!

Leone and Marnie win Most Slams

Donna wins Lowest Score
