FALL MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello Seba Seniors Friends,
What a summer it’s been in our cozy corner of Seba Beach! The community centre was buzzing with energy—from the vibrant “Colours of Summer” Quilters Craft Show to family-friendly craft classes and our regular games of Mahjong, Crib, Bridge, Music Jam and the ever-popular Walking Group. We even added a new card game to the mix—Hand, Foot and Mouth—don’t worry, it’s way more fun than it sounds!
After a long hiatus, we made a splash at the Regatta with a Seba Seniors float, and it was a blast. August brought an art sale that helped boost our Thrift Shop funds, and we capped off the season with a well-deserved volunteer appreciation dinner—cheers to the amazing folks who keep this place running!
We snuck in our Fall Dinner a little early this year to celebrate the beautiful renovations in May Hall. If you haven’t seen the refreshed space upstairs, come take a peek—it’s looking fantastic. And of course, our Sundowners are still going strong. If you haven’t joined in yet, come by for a drink, a snack, and some laughs with the gang.

Everything we do is powered by volunteers, our Social Committee, and Board members. Your time, energy, and heart make this club what it is. Thank you for being the reason Seba Seniors thrives.
Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for our big 50th anniversary in July 2026! We’ll start planning in the new year, and we’d love to hear your stories and memories—let’s celebrate the past and the people who’ve made it all possible.
And here’s a little cherry on top: Along with four other organizations, Seba Seniors has been awarded a New Horizon Pan-Canadian Grant! This means we’ll be bringing on an Outreach Consultant to help us connect even more deeply with seniors in our area—focusing on inclusion, fraud prevention, and more. Big things are coming!
