Volunteer Appreciation Party– Seba Seniors

We are deeply grateful for the incredible volunteers who make Seba Seniors such a vibrant and caring community. This past season, approximately 85 volunteers generously gave their time and talents to support our programs, events, and activities.

From our dedicated Social Committee, who organize four dinners each year and host our Sundowners, to our ten committed Board Members, each contribution plays a vital role in our success. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the many who keep our Thrift Shop running, those who support our fundraising efforts through events such as Bridge at the Beach and the High Tea, and our talented Quilting Group, whose beautiful charity quilts bring comfort to others. In addition, we are so appreciative of those who lead our ongoing groups, including Music Jam, Card Games,  and the Men’s Shed, fostering connection and creativity throughout the year.

To express our gratitude, we hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Party at the end of August, where about 50 volunteers joined us to celebrate their generosity and the many accomplishments achieved together this season. The evening was filled with laughter and camaraderie as we mixed up cocktails for everyone — Tracey even served her signature Old Fashioneds, while Peggy treated us to her famous shrimp dip. Appetizers from Appetite Delight in Spruce Grove rounded out the celebration perfectly, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

When we reflect on all that has been accomplished, it is truly inspiring. We are proud to be part of such a generous and dedicated community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Seba Seniors volunteers, for your time, kindness, and unwavering support.
