A MESSAGE FROM THE SEBA SENIORS PRESIDENT

Seba Seniors is making a difference by working with Parkland County Seniors Shuttle service and the Wee Food Bank. By using the Shuttle Service (which is a new service offered by Parkland County), we are helping to establish this support for future seniors on an on-going basis.  Recently, our Seba Seniors Quilting group rented Parklands Seniors Shuttle to go to Quilt Canada’s juried show at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton.  Because this shuttle was available at a reasonable cost, our quilters did not have to worry about parking or driving in downtown Edmonton.  They could attend the quilt show safely and conveniently!  Several quilters reported that they would not have been able to attend this rare opportunity if it had not been for the shuttle.  I hope there will be more opportunities for special tours and day trips through this Shuttle Service.

Another wonderful event that our Seba Seniors are organizing for the community is a Benefit Concert on July 13, 2024. With this concert, we’re raising money and food donations for the Wee Food Bank in Entwistle. The popular Songkraft Singers will provide an amazing music experience to get you up on the dance floor. So come out Seba Beach and listen to some quality musicianship and connect with other folks in our community while supporting a great cause!

Everyone benefits by working together.
