IT WAS A WONDERFUL TIME!
On Sunday, December 14, 2025, we had an amazing time at our Family Sleigh Ride event. Les Sutherland, who has a farm near Magnolia, brought his beautiful horses, Leftie & Sawyer, to give approximately 100 people a magical sleigh ride down 1st Ave in Seba Beach.
After the rides, folks gathered in the Melmoth Lounge to enjoy plenty of treats, including Peggy’s chocolate chip cookies, Diane’s sugar cookies, shortbread and Danish butter cookies, along with homemade creamy hot chocolate, mulled wine, and Bailey’s with coffee.
A big thank you to Al for donating firewood to keep our fire going, and to Ingrid for keeping it roaring. Thanks as well to Mary and Lynn for helping Diane with the cleanup afterwards. And, a huge shoutout to our Program Director, Diane, who organized this event for all of us; and to her husband, John, for taking such wonderful photographs to capture our afternoon!
