SEPTEMBER’S HOT TOPIC PRESENTATIONS
We have had some great presentations, great turnouts and lively discussions at our Hot Topics presentations this month.
Gail deVos, a talented storyteller, gave us some fantastic tips on how to develop stories around the people and the places we know. We also had O’Neil Cartier of the NDP and MLA Shane Getson, provided information on policies that apply to seniors.
These days it seems we have all received a call from the “CRA” saying that you owe them money. This month our Hot Topics also featured Miranda O’Brien from Scotia Bank who came out to talk about Bank Fraud and strategies to prevent fraud. It was a wonderful presentation and we are excited to announce that Miranda will be back on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, to talk to us about RRSP and RIFFs.
