We Have Doubled our Membership!
In the past five years, Seba Seniors has doubled it’s membership. As of March 2024 we now have 235 members! Our programs and events have expanded considerably in the past few years. Community programming is expanding. Things are happening at Seba Seniors!
Happily, we are still 100% run by volunteers – amazing volunteers. Led by our Board of Directors, volunteer teams run the Thrift shop, organize and host programs and social events, take care of our center facility (maintenance), and manage our communications (enewsletter, website, facebook/instagram). Even the participants of our programs and classes are self-hosted and often self-managed! It works like a charm but the volunteers are bending with the pressure of more everything.
We could really use some help
We know there are many people out there with talent, energy, and time to contribute to keep Seba Seniors vital. Please think about what you can offer – even a few hours a week goes a long way.
You have heard this message many times but at Seba Seniors the benefits of volunteering far outweigh the time spent. We are a great bunch and you won’t regret joining our team(s)!
